My Perfect Saturday... =)

Today was not quite a typical Saturday, but it felt almost perfect to me...

Adele wasn't my alarm clock today. She told me happily, "I wasn't your alarm clock today!" She was my usual Saturday Alarm Clock cause she comes to my place for piano lessons by my sis every Saturday morning while I'm still in bed.. She'll usually crepts up to my room and start covering me in pillows and soft toys on my bed or just sits on my bed starting to cough (like last week) OR she'll just jumps on my bed like it's a trampoline...

YYV came to stay overnight at my place last night just after we finished our tuition because we are taking part in a cooking competition with me only knowing how to cook instant noodles, fry eggs and some other crazy self-invented recipes... So, she came over to just cook something together... It was quite unplanned since we didn't have the slightest idea of what to cook... So, we just cooked something really strange... Well, the pumpkin soup was fine, because it wasn't really cooked by us. We just did the cutting up of veggies... Haha! We fried some chips and I put TOO MUCH salt... We made Tomato Fish (is it what it's called?) and only the sause tasted nice. The fish was... Uh... Sort of a disaster... And we made omelette with TOO MUCH mashed potatoes... =_= We ended up finishing up the mess we cooked...

The happiest thing for me is that there's no Violin class today! Yippee! Hehe.. It's not like I hate violin lessons but we were told to practise a crazily up tempo-ed, Old Joe Clark. It was alsmost impossible to memorize and even impossible for us to play it at that speed! The song was only full of semiquavers going up and down with sharps and flats all over the score! @_@

It was raining for 2 days now... I love to hear the sound of the raindrops falling on the window pane in my room.. Lying in bed, listening to the pitter-patter of it... It sounds like some kind of rain dance that they're dancing to... I'd rather stay home at this weather, enjoying it indoors... The atmosphere is cooling and relaxing... Not hot and sweaty like it usually is...

I'm currently in love with some songs...

1. Cinderella by Steve Chapman
It about a song that he wrote for his daughter as a father.

In the lyrics, it says, "So I will dance with Cinderella, While she is here in my arms, 'Cause I know something the prince never knew, Oh I will dance with Cinderella, I don't wanna miss even one song, Cuz all too soon the clock will strike midnight, And she'll be gone..."

It says that she wanted to practise her dancing with him because she was invited to a ball in the castle, later saying that her prom night is here soon and lastly, seeing a wedding ring on her finger indicating that she's getting married soon.

I find this song really touching and tells the story that has been kept in our dad's heart for so long... He was singing many dad's heart out...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=BUk5SZ18WhY

2. Teardrops on my guitar by Taylor Swift
Using the name Drew, Taylor Swift had also sang the hearts out of many girls... Having a good friend and finding out that he had found the right girl for him.. But just couldn't tell him how she felt for her...

"He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar, The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star, He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do.."

http://youtube.com/watch?v=S9VeQpRX7NY&feature=related

3. 保佑我 - 李志清
Although this was a very old song, but I loved it the very moment when I heard it on the radio sang by the original composer of this song. The plain guitar background giving you the feel that you are by the sea... It literally means "Pray For Me"... The composer, Lee Zhi Qing, is a talented young man from Malacca, Malaysia that had wrote songs for many artists, such as, Emil Chau 周华健, A-Du 阿杜, Rynn Lin 林宇中and also S.H.E.

I fell in love with acoustic songs accompanied by just a simple guitar... =) The clean strumming and plucking of the notes. Simple yet heart warming... 我... 爱上了木吉他的那把声音...

Not Satisfied with what I got...

The holidays are already over for almost a week now... How time flies...

It's about 2 weeks ago that Hui Ying, my ideal skating partner, went skating AGAIN. Yes, again, because it haveb't even been a year that we've went to Sunway to skate. And as usual, it was planned only the night before we went skating. Haha!

It's about 2 weeks ago since my beloved Labrador, Joy Joy, went to meet with our late German Shepard, Pongo, in Doggie Heaven.

And it's about a week ago that we've just sent our retired PK away from school, holding back tears which are about to fall anytime... Nah.. Not exactly.. But my class was quite happy to have another 4 free Add Maths lessons to play and monkeying about since Pn Chong used to be our Add Maths teacher.

A slideshow was played, showing pictures from her past, which I'm sure brought her down Memory Lane and remembering those good ol' days. She was a student from Kong Hoe! I didn't know that... And she was also the Prefect in Kwang Hua back in those days when Elvis Presley tops the billboard chart. I was pretty amazed that she had travelled to various countries, such as the USA, UK, Australia, Belgium, China just to name a few. Aww... I'm a green-eyed monster when I know a person have travelled to so many lands that I've never even set foot on. Hehe..

Well, after that 2 weeks of 'occupied' holiday, I've came back to my usual lifestyle.

Waking up at 6.20am every morning, slap myself awake then brushing my teeth half asleep, drink my usual cup of Fernleaf milk, sleep in my teacher's car all the way to school, continue my trip to Dreamland after a short walk from the carpark to my class, eat Spaghetti every Friday whitout fail and getting those 'envy' eyes staring at it wishing to take just 1 strip of the Spaghetti out of my plate thinking I would fall for those puppy eyes, have Monday Blues every Monday at assembly (and sleep), have tuition almost everyday and my day ends when the clock strikes 1am or 1.30am... Wow... What a busy day... =_=

Talking of school, I've got back my results for the exam I sat for before the lovely, lovely holidays, and I was not at all satisfied with the results I got... 5 A's out of 11?! Darn... How bad is that, plus, being in 4S2 n sitting beside the super maths gurl, YYV, makes it even worse... T.T It's not like I'm going to state down every marks I got, but I can just give all of you 1 conclusion: IT WAS BAD!

But! Yes, but, I have 1 pretty satisfied subject, which is... *drum rolls* Chinese! I've never ever got an A in my life since Form 1 till now, except in PMR where I think the marker's half blind to give me an A... =_= Although it's just an itsy-bitsy little A2, my heart is already soaring half way to space.

1 funny incident to mention:
I'm not supposed to say this, but, it's just pure entertainment... Heehee! A bunch of girls at the back of the class and 2 or 3 boys were playing Truth or Dare and 1 of the boys lost. He chose to dare instead of telling the truth although I wasn't really sure what on earth was happening back there. So, by choosing to Dare, the girls told him to come up front to sing Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin 月亮代表我的心 to Yoon Voon since it was her Birthday the day before (12/6).. The boy, i think, was almost peeing his pants, but he, who's full of guts and courage (eh-hem), decided to sing.. I was laughing with tears in my eyes when he started singing the first phrase of the song. But at the end, the class gave him a round of applaue + cheers! =) Those from 4S2 may know the lead actor of this incident.... =P

ps: Happy Fathers' Day!!! and also Happy Birthday to: Xin Yi (2/6), 俊彦 (5/6,哲俊 (8/6), Chai Wei (11/6), Ah Boon (YYV) (12/6), Sa Ku (13/6), Bro & Alvin (16/6), Qiao Fang & Hunt (24/6) n Mama & Rain (25/6)!

力宏給歌迷朋友的一封信-關於四川救災專戶 A Letter frm Leehom to victims of the Earthquake in SzeChuan

Sincerely, Leehom

Dear Friends,

In an instant, millions of lives have been forever changed. The earthquake in Sichuan may be China's worst natural disaster in over three decades...words cannot express the pain, sorrow and loss I feel for the victims and their families.

Your online messages from all around the world echo humanity, compassion, and encouragement. It's obvious that Sichuan's situation is the first thing on our minds and hearts these days. There is a lot we can, and will do, to help.

Ourhome China has many members in Sichuan. When the earthquake first struck, I immediately thought of you all, including our China Fan club president Eric, who lives in Chengdu. We were able to contact Eric at first notice, and we are thankful and relieved that he and his family are safe. My thoughts continue to be with all of you. You are all in my daily prayers.

Many of you have expressed wishes for a way we can contribute together, as a team. Today, the NGO World Vision set up an account especially for us called, "王力宏四川賑災救援專戶 " (Wang Leehom Sichuan Disaster Relief Account).

You can access our account at this address:
http://i-payment.worldvision.org.tw/offering.php?op=brief&orgid=63

I have made an initial deposit of 3 million NTD, and invite all of you to contribute any amount whatsoever to this fund. No amount is too small. 100% of this fund will go to the relief effort in Sichuan, and World Vision is already active there. They have already pledged an initial 2 million USD to help over 107,000 people. With our contribution we can give even more victims a chance for survival.

Please forward this address to your friends and families, and together, let’s meet disaster with strength, hope, love and unified support!

Sincerely,
Leehom

Exam's over! Happy Hols!

Well, will you look at that? I thought I wasn't able to sign in to blogspot...

Firstly, although it's a bit late to say that... It's already the Holidays again!!! Yippie! But don't get to happy about it! After the holidays, we're gonna get our results back and *uh-oh!* we'll most probably die... Not of happiness, but of sorrow and dissapointment!

FYI, I've already watched Narnia Prince Caspian (a day before Physics' test). It wasn't that bad. It was really nice! All Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy have all grown up! =) Prince Caspian, by Ben Barnes, was very, very, very good looking! Heheh... I don't wanna say anything about it here in case there are somebody plannig to go watch it.

This holidays are quite like the usuals. Occupied by choir practices, tuitions, TV Programmes, online chatting, ice-skating (maybe), going to the movies, reading books and going on a holiday!

I went to KLCC yesterday and was planning to go to Petrosains. But it wasn't open on a Monday, what to do? So we just lingered in Kinokuniya. There, my mum bought me 2 books, The Little Girl in the Window (Totto-chan) and also The Kite Runner. I think it's 2 good books to read. I'm catching up on my reading now. I haven't finish (or haven't even started) reading Once Upon A Marigold and The Princess Academy which I bought last year.

and i gotta go now! Choir practise at 6pm! Ciao! Enjoy your hols!!! =)

2 down... Many more to go! ps: Happy Mama's Day!

2 down n many more to go! Sorry about the many more, I lost count of how many papers i'm going to sit for!

Firstly, I thank God Chemistry wasn't that bad... I can say I almost know how to do 80% of Paper 1 (objective) ... But in Paper 2 (subjective), Section C, we're supposed to only choose 1 question to answer... But careless me did both the questions! Luckily I didn't waste too much time on that and manage to recheck the whole thing.. I was so happy that I should be only choosing 1 because I wasn't too sure about the answers in Q2... So, I happily scarped off the whole Q2! Feels good~ =P Q1 was all 'bout the contributions of scientist to the structures of atom and I feel so lucky that I've just studied and made short notes about that very thing! Except that I didn't know what the oxidation number for Cu+ and Cu2+ is and what's the element for Ruby and Sapphire! The others was alright. But I can't keep my hopes too high!

Then, EST, happy to say that, for me, the objective paper was really a piece of cake! But I can't guarantee that I could score A1 or what. For me, it was quite easy... And the subjective was ok... It was all writing about the uses of vitamins and the effects of lacking it...

So, tomorrow, it's the day for the brain-wrecking Add Maths!!! It's currently 1 of my least favourite subject. I guess that I'm quite fine from Chap 1 - Chap 4, but Chap 5, Logarithms and Indices! @_@ It's really confusing! I hope that it wouldn't be to hard! Ah... God help us!! And other subject is Essay Writing for Bahasa Malaysia (Malay Language)... I'm quite nervous myself, because I had stopped tuitions for BM and i'm not updated, in a way that I'm still in the Form 3 phase of essay writing in BM. So, I need to learn to "brag" about the whole essay, as people see it, write more examples and elaborate more on the points and also try to use more Malay Idioms (Peribahasa)... So, I hope that all my reading of Karangan Contoh (Examples of Malay Essay's) would at least help a little!

Wish me luck!! =)

ps: Happy Mama's Day to Mothers all over the world!!! We <3 [love] u~~ Happy Mama's day, Mummy! Thanks for the wonderful dinner tonight! It was superb! Home made shark's fin soup (I know it's not that environmentally friendly, but I can't help it! Sigh!) and apple, walnuts, yogurt, raisins (sultanas) and lettuce salad, and also, Black Pepper Fish Fillet (bought from the mall! =P)....

Exams!

Exams are dreadful things la.. I dunno who, but some insane maniacs have claimed that they love to sit for EXAMS! Huh?! They said it's because it's challenging?! Yea.. It is challenging! It's challenging enuf for me to go crazy about! Bah! I've also heard that, too many trees are cut down to be made into test papers!!! So, being environmentally friendly, SAY NO TO EXAMS! SAY NO TO CUTTING DOWN MORE TREES! Be more considerate and kind to our Mother Earth! Earth's natural resources are going to be used up pretty soon!!! So... The Minister of Education, it's time to think about our future! The future is in your hands!!!! ( =P )

By the way, we're going to sit for the Chemistry paper and also 2 EST (English Science and Tech) paper! Two brand new subjects! And, we're going be in the oven-like, hot and sweaty school hall with just standing fans and ceiling fans... Aiyah! This will only affect our mood la!!! Sigh!

*Giggles!* Erm.. Sorry bout the giggling.. My hamster was just climbing up my shirt and managed to climb onto my head and shoulders... Itchy, itchy! This hyperactive little "monster" is just restless! Besides being alseep in her little house, she cant sit still for even a minute on your hand!

Okay, back to exams! Darn!!! I havent even get used to the formats of these subjects! And, I'm still mc(square) on almost all the pure science subjects!

Chemistry
1. I'm still not sure of how am I going to calculate the no. "lumber" (En. Ng K.C's pronounciation for number) of mols.
2. What's the difference between atom and element?
3. I havent memorized the uses of isotopes, the elements in Group 1, Group 2 and Group 18. I still dunno the chemical n physical properties of this and that...
4. I still haven' memorise the experiments!

Biology
1. I still dunno the process of Mitosis and Meiosis.
2. I'm not sure of all the uses of those lil' thinggies, Ex: Chromatids, Centromer...
3. Still blur-blur about Chapter 5 (Nuclear Division)
4. The structures of Protein etc

Physics
1. THE FORMULAS!! F = ma, V = s/t, FT = mv - mu etc etc

So, I really gotta go study now!!! If not, I'll be doomed forever!!!!

Taz! See y'all after the exam!!! =) (maybe not)

and good luck those going for the exams!

I dreamt of Leehom~ =)

Hey there! Sorry for the late post because I didn't really know what to write here...

So anyway, I've dreamt of Leehom a few days ago and it's like the 2nd time in a month already! Bah.. Sweet dreams never last long... T.T but I really hope it was reality! =P However, I dreamt that I went shopping with him.. =_= Not really knowing the reason or what we were shopping for, but I just remembered that... Then the first time, it was when I met him somewhere. He was wearing a red baseball cap if I'm not mistaken, and it was raining. Then, I asked for his autograph and definitely asked to take a picture with him... Then I couldn't recall the rest! i really hope that I could dream of him again soon, as you know, you can't control what you dream... And the dreams felt so real!

And speaking of Leehom, he's bday's coming soon! It's on the 17th of May and he's 31 turning 32 this year! Yay! Happy Birthday, Homeboy! I made him a card last year, and wasn't really sure if he received it, but it's in this book here. Together with fans from 20 other countries! =)

This year, I suggested to buy him a t-shirt. It's not that expensive, RM30 shared with 3 people, but I chose that because it a Fender t-shirt. Fender is a brand of a guitar which he used in his latest album, Change Me. So, I saw it in the guitar shop and decided to buy it for him. Heehee... Since I've got hold of the address of SONY BMG, Taiwan, I decided to send it there. But we'll be quite late since I can only buy the shirt this Sunday and post it to him, the earliest is Monday... But I hope to see him wearing this shirt in later pictures...

And also! I've decided to buy the OurHome, China's club t-shirt! OurHome is Leehom's fanclub, so in China, it's OurHome, China; In Sg, it's OurHome, Singapore! Hehe... It's really sleek, right? the style... So cool! It's RMB 80, so it's approx. RM36.20? Excluding the postage fee... It's not that expensive, right? Hehe... Many people wonder where I got those Leehom merchandises, such as the Gai Cap, the kaleidescope used in Forever Love and so on... I've got my sources..

The 盖cap.. The盖stands for盖世英雄. The kaleidescope 万花筒 used in Forever Love.

Looks like this post's all about Leehom! Yeap! once again, Happy Birthday, Leehom!!! =) Looking forward to your new album this Summer!! I'm sure you'll have a new style to introduce to our ever-opening ears! Good luck!

ps: I've made 6 cups of caramel creme... And it looked exatcly like this.. Anyway, it's instant made! =P If I got a chance, I'll upload my version of Caramel creme for all to see... but not taste! Hah!
