Leehom's Music Man concert, 18 and 19 Sept 2008, Taiwan.
But I bet he will be coming to Malaysia for the concert quite soon. But the fastest is maybe, next year... So I'll start saving up for the VIP ticket! Muahahahaha! Anyway, I've been to the Heroes of Earth Concert last March in Bkt Jalil and it was... Woah! One word, Superb! It's my first time going to a concert, and he gave me a whale of a time! But I can only see him clearly on the screen, without the screen, he is the size of an ant.... =_= But I've shouted like hell that night! Haha! So I hope to get into the concert mood all over again!
He's album is coming out soon! As a loyal HOManiac, I'm definitely pre-ordering, and most probably from Taiwan! Hehe... You can't blame me, the pre-order gift from Tw is a hundred times better than the gifts from M'sia. Take the Change Me album for example, in Malaysia, they just gave us a Leehom T-shirt (mine was too large for me, so I wore it as a pyjamas!); in Taiwan, they gave those cool reusable chopsticks!
And also, there will be Japanese exchange students coming over to Malaysia next Tuesday! Can't wait! =)
There's many things going on in my life right now. And, my Piano Pratical is coming up! 18 August for Theory and 19 for the Practical! Oh Gosh! I hope it will turn out fine. I've FLUNKED my Yamaha Grade 5 Exam! Sob!
Anyway, the Beijing Olympics are here soon! 中国加油!北京,准备好了!And, of course, Malaysia Boleh! =)

Heart Warming Stories from the 512 Earthquake in Si Chuan, China
I'm sure that the 512 Earthquake that shook the whole of Si Chuan is still something people would talk about even though it was already 2 months after it. Here are some heart warming stories that will, well, make you shed tears...
I've seen some of these stories here live on the television. It was not only heart warming but at the same time, it's also heart breaking. The one I remembered the most was the story of the man who died after 78 hours under the rubble. His name, was Chen Jian, which means strong. His moans wrenched my heart and made me cry even when I think about it... But most of the survivals survived because of the protection given to them by their teacher or their family members. Since it happened in the afternoon, many students are still in school. The picture of all the children under the burial, lying there motionless and lifeless, is a real nightmare....
Another story not stated here was about a policewoman who was still fighting to save lives of others even though she lost her family back home.
Please pray for those who left us during the 512 Earthquake...

Bon Odori! 盆踊り!
Venue: Mashushita Sport's Centre, Shah Alam
Time: 5.00pm (Gates Open) - 11.15pm
It was fun although we only stayed there for only about 1 hour, maybe less. We only wanted to take a look about what it was all about. There was many people there, both locals and Japanese. Many were wearing the yukata (kimino in summer) and it was so nice! I even saw Malays wearing it with the tudung! Lol... It looked kinda weird. Aw... I want to have a chance to wear it! Maybe next year! =P Oh, and btw, I even saw the Malays speaking in FLUENT Japanese! I guess they are from the Japanese Language Society from some school. Why didn't my school have this club?! So, that gave me an idea to set it up... I even told Cheau Wei (a Japan-crazy gurl) and she went nuts about it!
We bought some food and sat down on the field to watch the dance performance. The japanese bread was also sold there! I don't really know what it's called but it was the 2nd time we ate it! Yummy!!! We were give those small, paper hand fan so it wasn't that hot. People were dancing along to those who are performing on stage. I didn't join in... Hehe!
That's all for now. Bye!

Taylor's Culinary Contest at the Taylor's School of Hospitailty! =)
Today, the 5th of July 2008, is quite a historical day for me... Becuz it's the first time ever that I cook something (other than frying eggs and cooking instant noodles and all those bad, instant cooking! =P) in the kitchen by myself, with another helper of course. She's ah YYV...
We woke up at 6.45am... T.T just to take the train to Setia Jaya which is only like 1/2 an hour away... Yea, well... We took the train there but don't really have a clue where it is.. We met Yi Hua n Xiao Ling in the train station.. So we just wandered around and keep our eyes looking up and down... Finally, somebody found it and we just walked through the gates. For a sudden, I felt as if I'm in Bali, Indo or something. There was those fountains and nice looking statues in a small pond.. Even when we were there, we didn't know where the main gate was! I guess we went there through the back gate, then.
After we found the main gate, we waited for Pn Sally to arrive. We saw those other contestants from other schools and they were like SO PROFFESIONAL! Even from their appearance! And we were jsut there to have some pure fun and not to mention, try out our luck la...
The competition started at about 12 or 11 am? I wasn't wearing my watch since it was accidentally kicked under my bed by me... Our team name was Ivy. Don't ask us why, it was just chosen randomly... So, our station number was No. 13. I know! It's bad luck, right?! But, nothing bad happened to us, so, yay! =P
Yong went to take the ingredients and she took loads of stuff since we don't really know what to cook. There was tomatoes, spaghetti, onion, garlic, celery and also a carrot. The chicken was prepared for us... What?! A chicken?! Both of us had NEVER dealt with a chicken bofore... =_= The girl from no. 14 was saying that it's her first time molesting a chicken while she was washing it! Lol... They were from SMKDU anyway. I saw it from their shirts. I think they're called Angel 2.
So we started our "cooking". I was only told to peel this, peel that, cut this, cut that, cook the spaghetti and most probably nothing else. 'Cuz Yong forbade me to touch the other things.. Yea, she's really quite a Little Miss Know-It-All... She seasoned the chicken with pepper and salt and went on cooking. She then said we were going to cook the so called "Black Pepper Chicken" with Spaghetti.
We were in tears when we cut the onions.. I was actually crying! Tears started to run out of my eyes like the tap water... Don't get me wrong, it's all because of the onion! It was really embarrasing!
Well, after like 1/2 and hour, yong was quite annoyed and she fired up. I didn't know what to do and asked her, since she said I was supposed to just do what she says. She got really annoyed and fed up! What?! I really didn't know what to do! Sorry to say but, sometimes, working with her is a real pain in the neck...
So we were like rushing through everything and did everything the last minute. Even the spaghetti was undercooked. Luckily our food was still edible... Haha! The chicken was quite okay. I reckon that our plate had too much food. Other school was really nice! The presetation was really really neat and nice to look at! I think they've had some professional training in school... Hehe! Our school's ERT club was pretty much just a "club" with not more than 10 activities in a year!
After that, they announced the final 6. We don't even stand 0.1% of being in the final 6. So, after having lunch, yong had to go home cuz she's having tution at night. As for me, Xiao Ling, Yi Hua and the other 2 gurls from Form 5 (Sory, I forgot ur names! ^^') went for the pastry demostration. There were 2 students there to demonstrate. Claire from Singapore and Blair from Australia. Yea, is it coincidence or what? Claire and Blaire... So they demonstrated how to make Paris-Brest and also Choux Chantily and Eclair. Both were tasty!
After that. there were also the blind tasting game. I only got like 3/7... =_= At least I got the dark chocolate correct! And then, there was the carving of fruits. Grapefruit and also orange. The orange is easier to cut! Then they were like cooking caramel or something, then they put the Pineapple slices in it and also some rum. It's really hard to prevent the sugar from turning brown and burn it. Our trial was a disaster.. =_= Our sugary thingy was more bitter than expected. So we just played around and go around snapping pictures...
So that was pretty much the end of it. Me, Xiao Ling and Yi Hua sat the KTM back to Klang and now here I am, typing my blog telling all u guys about it... If possble, I'll upload some pictures up here... For now, Ciao!

My Perfect Saturday... =)
Today was not quite a typical Saturday, but it felt almost perfect to me...
Adele wasn't my alarm clock today. She told me happily, "I wasn't your alarm clock today!" She was my usual Saturday Alarm Clock cause she comes to my place for piano lessons by my sis every Saturday morning while I'm still in bed.. She'll usually crepts up to my room and start covering me in pillows and soft toys on my bed or just sits on my bed starting to cough (like last week) OR she'll just jumps on my bed like it's a trampoline...
YYV came to stay overnight at my place last night just after we finished our tuition because we are taking part in a cooking competition with me only knowing how to cook instant noodles, fry eggs and some other crazy self-invented recipes... So, she came over to just cook something together... It was quite unplanned since we didn't have the slightest idea of what to cook... So, we just cooked something really strange... Well, the pumpkin soup was fine, because it wasn't really cooked by us. We just did the cutting up of veggies... Haha! We fried some chips and I put TOO MUCH salt... We made Tomato Fish (is it what it's called?) and only the sause tasted nice. The fish was... Uh... Sort of a disaster... And we made omelette with TOO MUCH mashed potatoes... =_= We ended up finishing up the mess we cooked...
The happiest thing for me is that there's no Violin class today! Yippee! Hehe.. It's not like I hate violin lessons but we were told to practise a crazily up tempo-ed, Old Joe Clark. It was alsmost impossible to memorize and even impossible for us to play it at that speed! The song was only full of semiquavers going up and down with sharps and flats all over the score! @_@
It was raining for 2 days now... I love to hear the sound of the raindrops falling on the window pane in my room.. Lying in bed, listening to the pitter-patter of it... It sounds like some kind of rain dance that they're dancing to... I'd rather stay home at this weather, enjoying it indoors... The atmosphere is cooling and relaxing... Not hot and sweaty like it usually is...
I'm currently in love with some songs...
1. Cinderella by Steve Chapman
It about a song that he wrote for his daughter as a father.
In the lyrics, it says, "So I will dance with Cinderella, While she is here in my arms, 'Cause I know something the prince never knew, Oh I will dance with Cinderella, I don't wanna miss even one song, Cuz all too soon the clock will strike midnight, And she'll be gone..."
It says that she wanted to practise her dancing with him because she was invited to a ball in the castle, later saying that her prom night is here soon and lastly, seeing a wedding ring on her finger indicating that she's getting married soon.
I find this song really touching and tells the story that has been kept in our dad's heart for so long... He was singing many dad's heart out...
http://youtube.com/watch?v=BUk5SZ18WhY
2. Teardrops on my guitar by Taylor Swift
Using the name Drew, Taylor Swift had also sang the hearts out of many girls... Having a good friend and finding out that he had found the right girl for him.. But just couldn't tell him how she felt for her...
"He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar, The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star, He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do.."
http://youtube.com/watch?v=S9VeQpRX7NY&feature=related
3. 保佑我 - 李志清
Although this was a very old song, but I loved it the very moment when I heard it on the radio sang by the original composer of this song. The plain guitar background giving you the feel that you are by the sea... It literally means "Pray For Me"... The composer, Lee Zhi Qing, is a talented young man from Malacca, Malaysia that had wrote songs for many artists, such as, Emil Chau 周华健, A-Du 阿杜, Rynn Lin 林宇中and also S.H.E.
I fell in love with acoustic songs accompanied by just a simple guitar... =) The clean strumming and plucking of the notes. Simple yet heart warming... 我... 爱上了木吉他的那把声音...

Not Satisfied with what I got...
The holidays are already over for almost a week now... How time flies...
It's about 2 weeks ago that Hui Ying, my ideal skating partner, went skating AGAIN. Yes, again, because it haveb't even been a year that we've went to Sunway to skate. And as usual, it was planned only the night before we went skating. Haha!
It's about 2 weeks ago since my beloved Labrador, Joy Joy, went to meet with our late German Shepard, Pongo, in Doggie Heaven.
And it's about a week ago that we've just sent our retired PK away from school, holding back tears which are about to fall anytime... Nah.. Not exactly.. But my class was quite happy to have another 4 free Add Maths lessons to play and monkeying about since Pn Chong used to be our Add Maths teacher.
A slideshow was played, showing pictures from her past, which I'm sure brought her down Memory Lane and remembering those good ol' days. She was a student from Kong Hoe! I didn't know that... And she was also the Prefect in Kwang Hua back in those days when Elvis Presley tops the billboard chart. I was pretty amazed that she had travelled to various countries, such as the USA, UK, Australia, Belgium, China just to name a few. Aww... I'm a green-eyed monster when I know a person have travelled to so many lands that I've never even set foot on. Hehe..
Well, after that 2 weeks of 'occupied' holiday, I've came back to my usual lifestyle.
Waking up at 6.20am every morning, slap myself awake then brushing my teeth half asleep, drink my usual cup of Fernleaf milk, sleep in my teacher's car all the way to school, continue my trip to Dreamland after a short walk from the carpark to my class, eat Spaghetti every Friday whitout fail and getting those 'envy' eyes staring at it wishing to take just 1 strip of the Spaghetti out of my plate thinking I would fall for those puppy eyes, have Monday Blues every Monday at assembly (and sleep), have tuition almost everyday and my day ends when the clock strikes 1am or 1.30am... Wow... What a busy day... =_=
Talking of school, I've got back my results for the exam I sat for before the lovely, lovely holidays, and I was not at all satisfied with the results I got... 5 A's out of 11?! Darn... How bad is that, plus, being in 4S2 n sitting beside the super maths gurl, YYV, makes it even worse... T.T It's not like I'm going to state down every marks I got, but I can just give all of you 1 conclusion: IT WAS BAD!
But! Yes, but, I have 1 pretty satisfied subject, which is... *drum rolls* Chinese! I've never ever got an A in my life since Form 1 till now, except in PMR where I think the marker's half blind to give me an A... =_= Although it's just an itsy-bitsy little A2, my heart is already soaring half way to space.
1 funny incident to mention:
I'm not supposed to say this, but, it's just pure entertainment... Heehee! A bunch of girls at the back of the class and 2 or 3 boys were playing Truth or Dare and 1 of the boys lost. He chose to dare instead of telling the truth although I wasn't really sure what on earth was happening back there. So, by choosing to Dare, the girls told him to come up front to sing Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin 月亮代表我的心 to Yoon Voon since it was her Birthday the day before (12/6).. The boy, i think, was almost peeing his pants, but he, who's full of guts and courage (eh-hem), decided to sing.. I was laughing with tears in my eyes when he started singing the first phrase of the song. But at the end, the class gave him a round of applaue + cheers! =) Those from 4S2 may know the lead actor of this incident.... =P
ps: Happy Fathers' Day!!! and also Happy Birthday to: Xin Yi (2/6), 俊彦 (5/6,哲俊 (8/6), Chai Wei (11/6), Ah Boon (YYV) (12/6), Sa Ku (13/6), Bro & Alvin (16/6), Qiao Fang & Hunt (24/6) n Mama & Rain (25/6)!
