SHOUT!
BUT because I have to be seen as someone who treats people with respect and manners, I just kept my mouth shut for most of the time. Not because I can tolerate the volume that is so loud that people miles away can hear you, but it's because I have to keep quiet in order not to offend you.
Some people, may seem to be older than most of us are, but they still act like they are a primary school kid! Shouting out the answer every time the teacher asks a questions (Even more annoying that Hermione Granger is when she does that), kept complaining about how cold is it to everybody as if people don't already know, having us chuckle at the lame jokes, asks stupidly simple questions that are really common sense and have never ending complains about how the food is cooked. Too oily, too little vegetables, too salty, too this, too that.... But, we just have to be patient with people like that.
In other cases, I would like to just shout out to people who had just wasted my time or just offended me. But instead, I just have to smile and chuckle nervously, saying "It's ok. It's alright. I'm fine with it." when I'm actually not... What I would like to say but can't is, "No! I'm not ok with that! How could you made me do this when I don't have to?" For example, recently, I was asked to help a ballet teacher accompany their dance exams which is in 2 weeks time, by playing the music given by them on the piano and the teacher, will of course pay me. Like I've mentioned in my previous post, it's because of that attractive pay that I decided to take the job but realized that I've bit off more than I can chew. So I've let go most of the grades that I play for and just focus on one grade, which is the higher grade ones and in which the teacher is more worried about. So I've practiced long and hard, trying to impress the teacher and myself at the same time by mastering the pieces which are not as easy, in a short period of time. Following the speed and learn to continue playing even when I messed it up. BUT (Sorry, there seem to be lots of 'but' in my post this time), the teacher just texted me today, saying, 'I've found another pianist to take your job as the exam pianist but you still have to play for the mock exam on Friday.' like I have not been practicing at all and screwed up the whole dance lesson when I play! But then again, because I have to treat people with respect and manners and won't be called a nuisance or a stuck-up, I again, just have to endure with it and 'Sure, okay. I'm fine with it.' leaving me with nothing but a $54 cheque, self-disappointment and being in doubt of my own music skills, after hours spent at the piano for the past 2 weeks to satisfy her needs of the ballet teacher. I won't say that it's a complete waste of my time as I had learnt a thing or two about ballet accompanying throughout the whole experience, but I would rather spend time doing more important stuff, like, Hmm... Gee, I don't know, school work, perhaps? My assignment was postponed because of this whole practicing for ballet accompaniment stuff and got a long lecture from my lecturer telling me that I've wasted 5 hours a day, doing nothing! D: Which also left me wondering, what DID I do for the 5 hours everyday? I don't remember staring at the ceiling, doing nothing at all for 5 hours.. Hmmm...
But hey, other than myself, I'm sure everyone out there at least had one of these moments mentioned above but didn't want to speak out because of our so called 'modesty' and 'manners'?
Nonetheless, after all my blabbering, I will still be who I am used to be. Someone who smiles, tolerates, nods or sometimes shakes my head in 'agreement' with things that I don't even agree on, because I was taught this way by myself so that no one is offended and everyone's happy. Unless things just HAD to be done the other way round, no excuses.

MICHAEL BUBLE'S CONCERT TONIGHT (in which I will miss)
Two years ago, I SWEAR that I almost flew to LA or London or even Germany to watch his concerts... Lol. But of course, this didn't happen. D:
So I just hope here that he comes back again SOON. Hopefully by next year. And by then, I'll be the first one in line to buy the tickets "fresh from the oven"...
Heres to lots of hot cup of milo and sweet stuff to help get me through tonight without sulking and sobbing...

30 hours in a day, please?
Again, another day had came and gone. Another day back from the long 23 (Miscalculated yesterday) station train ride from ballet accompaniment. I want more 30 hours in a day so that I can do more than just go about my daily, monotonous life everyday for the next 3 years to come. I haven't even been here for a year and I've already got sick of the way things work here... But anyway, it's for a better "future" and about learning to be independent.
Before I go on, I've thought of another word that begins with the letter "A" to add to my Dreadful "A" list: AUDITIONS for my Jazz Piano course. Coincidence? I think not! (Quoted from The Incredibles when Dash was called to the principal's office because he placed a tack on the teacher's chair) Hahahaha..
Moving on... Today, I had THREE classes of ballet accompaniment and it was no joke. The first was at school, which I came back to the teacher where I first accompanied for last semester. Her teaching style was very different from the previous one, which I think was better than the current one. The current one "dances" with her hands! Seriously. She rarely stands and dances with her feet, she just waves her hands about while counting the beats and saying the names of each moves in French, like I understand her, and she expects me to catch the beat and follow her.. == Ok. So I'm back with her for the rest of the semester. Patience is KEY! *Exhales...*
Second and third class was actually my "new" job I took from a friend as a favor, which is located at the 23rd stop from home. I just seriously hope that I didn't jeopardize their ballet class.. :X But honestly, how on Earth am I supposed to learn, what, 60 songs, up to the speed that they want (which is like 180 beats in a bar!) in less than a week to help accompany examinations 2 weeks later?! I am SO not exaggerating, which I wish I was. But I think it's partially my fault as well. Firstly, it was a JOB, that means I can get paid for it = more income! But less time on my hands. Secondly, I took up 2 ballet exams accompaniment from different places, which adds up to 6 books of ballet exams music to play, in a week. And it was too much, darling! Too much! (Quoted from The Incredibles when Edna was talking to Mr. Incredible? I think?) Sorry... I don't know why these quotes keep popping up into my head. But to sum it all up to a sentence, I bit off more than I can chew and I will NEVER do it again! D: I just CANNOT handle the pressure! I feel more pressured than the dancers going for exams! What if I go wrong?! What I stopped halfway through the song?! What if I played the music too fast or too slow?! What if they can't catch my speed?! What if...?
Okay. So 2 weeks is all I've got! For the sake of the extra pocket money, I'll fight to get it right! (Hey, it rhymes!)
Like I've said in my previous post, I'm currently reading Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert as my loyal companion during lonely, long train rides, together with my beloved iPod to keep my ears occupied as well. The book was more interesting than I expected it to be! It made me want to, maybe, stay in Rome for A YEAR! :D I want to visit their morning market everyday at 7am, roam along the old, narrow streets, eat gelato all day long, watch beautiful Italian men walk by me (Lol! I just took that phrase right out of the book), eat pasta and olive oil everyday, choose and pick my favourite fountain in the city, learn the beautiful language (or should I say "sign language" because of all the gestures with their hands when they talk), go to every museum there is in the city at least once a month and most of all, I want to learn to be "the masters of il bel far niente and l'arte a'arrangiarsi!" It means the sweet beauty of doing nothing and the art of making something out of nothing. "The art of making a feast out of simple ingredients, or a few gathered friends into a festival". And let's just hope my dreams will come true.. :)
Speaking of Italy, my LUCKY pals from choir back home in Malaysia will be going to VENICE this coming April for a choral competition! If I weren't to come to Singapore to study, I'd be one of the lucky ones to visit the City of Gondolas with just paying RM2000!!! :( But then again, my lecturer said that the choir that I am in now is planning to go on a trip to PRAGUE, in the CZECH REPUBLIC! Yay! But wait. What about the expenses? Who's paying? I don't have that much money. D: Ohhh... And this is partly why I took the 2 jobs, which now I kinda regretted. :(
Oh yeah. I almost forgot to mention that my school's choir performed in this afternoon's lunch time concert. My lecturer/conductor wanted to "show the Head of Contemporary Music what Pop and Jazz songs should be about and could be so beautiful", but then he conveniently went to Germany for a little trip or concert. Oh well. The hard times that we've put into our choir lessons, sort of, paid off. Lol.
Hopefully, I'll continue posting more entries but also have the time to do my school work.
Ps: I'll be Salsa-ing this Thursday! D: *Gasps!* I know, right? Me?! SALSA?! *Scoffs!*

Sorry for the LONG delay!
I'm not sure if there will be anyone who will be interested in reading it, but I just want to state here that the reason I decided to continue blogging is because I need a creative outlet in expressing my thoughts and pour everything out on "paper". Oh yeah, and also, I'm glad to announce that I've subscribed for a Mobile Broadband so that I can go online (and download movies and what not) at the "comfort" of my own home! Weeeee....
Okay, so I've just got back home from a hour long train ride from temporary "work"... Imagine taking the train from this end of the line, to the other end of the line. 22 stations, to be more exact. I don't know why, but I can take it when I have to sit through a car ride which is an hour long, but I can't really stand the fact that I have to take an hour long train ride with a train full of strangers, waiting for the little green LED lights to slowly blink off, 22 stations time, if you know what I mean.
Maybe it's because I can't sit comfortably on a cushion seat and sing along to the music playing on the radio to my heart's content, like when I do back home in Malaysia. Call me a spoilt brat all you want, but I just don't like the way things works around here in Singapore. Everyday at the MRT station, we get in line to tap our cards to take the train to our destinations. It feels like we're checking in to some army-based training or being manipulated like string puppets. Lol. Then in the train, lucky people get to doze off on their seats, while "unlucky" people who aren't so "kia su" in getting seats, like myself (hahaha), have to stand, most probably, throughout the journey. If you are early enough to get the FREE morning paper (They actually give out free papers!), you can just stuck your nose behind it, like most of the people do.
Or maybe you can even "exercise your thumb" by browsing through your iPhone, checking the latest Tweet, Facebook status, e-mail or whatever. Seriously speaking, 80% of Singaporeans OWNS an iPhone. No matter that you are old, young, local or a foreign worker, for example, Indians from India. 15% uses the Blackberry, and the remaining 5% just falls into the "Other phones" category.
Every morning, the train will be so packed, the you can even look at other people's text while they are texting. LOL. Not to be a "KPC" or anything, but I just can't help it! The distance is just "too close for comfort".
This 2 months will be BUSY like ___________ (Fill in the blanks.) There will be assessments, assignments, accompaniments and, any more words starting with the letter "A"? No, I guess not. The dreadful "A"s..
I just finished reading "The Undomestic Godess" by Sophie Kinsella. Not a bad read, but I'm surprised at my current "reading speed".
Two years before this, I can finish a 900 page Harry Potter novel in a week. Last year, I can finish a 600 page novel in 3 weeks. Now, I can only finish reading a 400 page novel in a month or MORE!!!! (Ps: I've only finished 1 out of 3 books that I bought LAST AUGUST.) Shame of me... :(
So, I'm currently reading "Eat Pray Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. I have to say that I skipped the whole wanting to get divorced, crying in the bathroom part to go to the start of the 1 year holiday in Italy! Lol... I am too depressed to read something as depressed as this is and also, it is obviously none of my concern to know how her divorce case went. I just wanted to read about her travel journals and dream that I could be like her someday. You know, not the part where her life is so messed up, but the part where she can travel the World. Lol.
Then after this, I plan to read the "Time Traveler's Wife" or "My Life in France", if my current hectic time schedule allows me to.
Wish me luck! :D
Ps: The next blogpost may only 'appear' after quite a period of time. No promises.. :X But I'll try my best.

I'll see you again, friend..
But the she told me that she had, but it was canceled. Something happened in the family, she said.
I didn't know it would be so serious.
So I said, Ohh. But if you wanna meet up then we can because I'll be going back anyway.
She replied, If we were to meet up, it will be a total opposite of a happy meeting. Losing someone was never so painful.
I was shocked. Then I said, What's wrong?
And I wished her next text will be just a joke, but it's not. She said, Ian.. He's already in Heaven.
Tears were already whirling up in my eyes when I saw that sms. My emotions just plunged into a deep pit and I almost cried. But since I was still at a school party, I held back. There were moments that I looked at the sky, thinking he's there looking down at me. I asked him, Why did you have to leave so soon? I haven't even got a chance to meet you this year.
I can still remember the first time seeing you. Ling Wei was at 'Ah Khoo's Tuition' downstairs and I was yet to join them during that time. And I was to stay over at her place with Chua and YYV to study for PMR, I think. So I had to stay upstairs and there you were, on Youtube listening to Jay Chou's songs. I was trying to like Jay Chou too so that we could have something in common to talk about. We talked for 2 hours, laughing all the way. Your laughter was contagious and your personality was cheerful and outgoing. Ling Wei said she could even hear our laughter from downstairs.. =') That's how we became friends..
When Chiho came, you were her tour guide. We played the board game the whole night, which I was obviously not very good at because I cannot even remember the name of the game.. XD Then we played cards and snapped pictures. Coming to think of it, it was exactly 2 years ago when you came pick me up together we Ling Wei and Chiho to bring me over to your place for a sleepover. You brought Chiho to Bandar Baru to buy a cake from Bee's and even bought a Ramli Burger and recommending it to Chicho about how good it is.
The next day, you drove us to Monash, Sunway for Ling Wei's Japanese Hosting Program's interview. On the way there, you helped Chiho recite her lines for her school play by letting her say her lines and you replying a completely different line jokingly. We all laughed till our sides hurt! We hung out at the library, joking and taking pictures.
After our SPM, we went to Ling Wei's house for a sleep over. I hung out with you a little by reading your Korean text books and quarreled about some Korean phrases that you learned and the ones that I knew. I joked about your ugly Korean handwriting and I even said, 'Haiyah, next time you teach me lah.' But I didn't got a chance to learn some phrases from you. Toyed with your Er Hu for a while and used your computer for a while to chat on MSN and you let me see your new Jay Chou album which I sarcastically said, 'Cheh~ Not nice one...' Then you played some songs on your PC and sang along to the songs. And that was the last time I saw you.
A few months ago, you chatted with me on MSN for a little while about your trip to Korea, your trip to Indonesia. You asked, 'Wei, when can I see you again?' I wished I said, 'Let's meet up soon!'But I just said, 'I don't know oh... I'll meet you when I meet Ling Wei lah..'
I wished the plan to go to the board games restaurant with Ling Wei was on in July. At least I got to see you the for the last time before you leave us so suddenly.
I wished that I accept the offer to go to your last birthday party last year. But instead, I just shrugged off the offer by saying that I don't really know your friends.
I'm sorry that I wasn't able to make it earlier to go see you for the last time these few days. By the time I reached your house, the casket was already closed. ='(
I remember borrowing you my whole collection of my own burnt cd of songs that I liked with the Puppy cd case. The zip on the case was already a little faulty and so, eventually it broke and it wasn't your fault that it broke. But you bought a new Cow cd case for me which I still use now. I'll be thinking of you everytime I see it now. =(
I'll be thinking of you now everytime I hear Jay Chou's song on the radio or anywhere else. I'll be thinking of your singing voice and you trying to imitate his rapping style, and smile. I believe that you are now doing the same thing, singing and bringing joy to the people you see, now in Heaven. Try to take some singing lessons from the Angels while you are there so I will be impressed by your singing the next time I see you.. =P
You really were a great, supportive brother and Ling Wei is so lucky to have you as her brother. The apple of everyone's eye. The person who brings laughter and joy to those around you.
I am honored to have you as a friend and having a chance to befriend you in this life.
I'll see you again. Rest in peace, my friend... You will always be remembered by me in my hearts, forever and always... Be sure to look down on us from Heaven some time because I will be talking to you when I look at the skies every now and then.. I promise that this will the last time I'll be crying for you..
Good-bye.

First Day in Collge Life
There are the 'First Days of School' during Kindergarten, Primary school, Secondary and now Collge!
Since it's the first day, everything was more relaxed and it was more on the introduction to the classes and teachers and all.
So my first class of the day should be Yoga, but the 'Yoga Master' is now in UK.. No class! =D
Then it's Sight singing. My lecturer is so cool! XD I think these are how all teachers in LASALLE will be. Mostly fashionistas and open-minded and hopefully interesting.. =P She's an actress, musician, director and lecturer.
Next, it was Rhythms. This lecturer is even cooler.. XD His hair was all tied up in a bunch! LOL. We will be learning about Brazilian Rhythms, drums and all that. The different states in Brazil have different styles of drumming and we have to learn all 3 of them. So I'll going to have to let loose and go wild like the way Brazilians do! Party, fiestas, festivals, dancing and all that... Hehehe.
My next class starts at 4.30pm. Thus here I am blogging when I have nothing to do on campus' library. =P
I guess all my classes will be more fun lah.. More interactive and interesting. Unlike classes in previous schools.. =_= Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Moral, Sejarah... Blargh.
It's a little weird thinking that I will have to focus on Music rather than those subjects like Maths and all that like I did before. I'll be doing assignments on Music and not projects or experiments on How To Test Whether the Salt is Soluble or Unsoluble and those kind of things.
Despite having to waking up early in the morning, the future exams and assignments to come, and having the 'Currency Conveter' in my brain everytime I need to buy something, I think I'll be having a great time for the next 2 years.
Here's to my artistic future and life ahead of me! =) Cheers..

My... 101th post., after 3 months!
I'm busy dealing with the ups and downs in my life. Apparently, I've just realized that my life had been in a smooth course or path, until now, of course. I'm sure people do face crossroads in this time of our lives when it comes to deciding our future. But everyone's definition of their own future totally differs from one another.
For some, images of a huge stack of cash in their bank accounts springs to their mind when they think about their future. For some, it's all about doing what they love and doesn't really care about their monthly income. For some, their future is decided by their parents and they have no other choice than to follow their parent's orders.
For me, my future remains unseen. Like it's still in the mist or still buried deep underneath the undergrowth, waiting for me to slash my way through the obstacles I'll be facing. But I think I see bits and parts of it, and hopefully the path I choose wouldn't have any regrets in the future. A future with no regrets? Bahhh.. That won't be possible. I'll definitely have a few of them and I'll be thinking of lots of "What if..."s. Regretting and wanting to give up everything and start all over again. Hopefully, it won't be disastrous and 'dream-threatening'.
I'll most probably be heading over to Singapore this August. That is, IF, I pass the auditions for the school. The audition includes theory, practical and also interviews. Asking funny questions like, "Are waffles really better than pancakes?". I've already have a few answers in my mind, still drafting, but still, it's better than having nothing to say. I have to perform 2 songs from a repertoire of Grade 8 and above, and also perform a song that I composed on my own! o.O
But now, the audition dates are clashed with the dates of my recording session with my choir! And there are sooooo many dates that I'm supposed to remember and take note of, but everything's just in a BIG, ugly mess that I'm still thinking of a way to clean it all up! The answer is, I'll be needing a diary or a schedule planner or something like that, and I need it SOON before all the dates come crashing down on me!
But the first thing, or the 10 things, that I'm worried about now is about the performances and concerts by both of my choirs. I doubt that we will be performing our best and be fully prepared for all the songs we will need to sing and record! o.O
Dance steps, lyrics, articulation, expressions, position etc. etc....
Plus, now that I'm vice-president of the Choir, there are so many things that is needed for me to finish doing and ugh, like I've said, I'm not a good leader or a speaker, I'm more of a listener. How am I gonna manage such important things like that?! I can't even write better formal Chinese letters and look for sponsors and all those things... And I may be 'quitting' this August!
Everything's in a mess, mess, mess, mess!
Btw, I've been trying to finish Anne Frank's Diary soon, which I had started months or weeks ago... I know that I'm taking very long to finish, but... I don't know what excuse to give for this.. Lol. Anyway, I've watched the mini series filmed by BBC on PPStream and understood most of the story. I've told my mother to ask someone to write down the stories my Grandpa tell about World War II, so that it can be written as a book or even filmed as a movie! Seriously, even by listening to the 'summary' of my Grandpa's story through my mother makes me wanna know more! The way he escaped from China when he was 16 to avoid being an Army for China to fight in war during World War II and how he survived the war by planting sweet potatoes and selling ice-creams and tap rubber, until now. He is a respectable and honorable old man in his eighties.
I've actually suddenly earned some interest for History! I've rewatched Titanic and read about it on Wikipedia, and also World War II and all that. o.O
I actually have to go now. There will be more choir practices and meetings tomorrow! I've went for practice at 9.30am today, and just got back home at 12am just now! Woah.. And there are more practice tomorrow! GOSH! So, bye for now. I promise to blog more often, if I can.
ps: Kelly Clarkson's concert last Sunday was... CRAZY! Haha.. ;)

100th Post! =D
Since I was busy doing nothing these days, I figured that I might as well do some cooking or baking. So my mum, teacher and many of my friends said that I had grown 'horizontally' rather than 'vertically' nowadays.. Ehehehe... =____= That's why I had somehow 'vowed' and promise myself to cut down my weight by not consuming that much sugar, dairy products and bread... =/ And of course, I'll be putting my dad's treadmill to good use by exercising 20 mins a day. Hopefully, I can keep my word to this promise and go slender and slim~~ LOL! But trying to learn to cook without any assistant from my mum will do me some good, since I had nothing to do. It's better than wasting my time here on the computer, right?
Less talking, more cooking! I'll just copy and paste the ingredients and procedures now. =P
Macaroni and Cheese (Mac 'n' Cheese)

Ta-da!!! Credits go to the NoobCook! =D I adore this website~~ Hehe.Ingredients
(Serves 6)
recipe adapted from meals matter & SoGood.TV- 200g elbow macaroni
- 40g butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 300g shredded red cheddar cheese
- 1 piece of plain bread
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tsp grated parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 bay leaf (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp nutmug powder (optional)Directions
1. Cook macaroni till al dente according to package instructions. Drain the macaroni in a colander, rinse with cold water and lay them flat on a roasting tray/casserole.
2. Use a food processor/blender to grind a piece of bread till it resembles bread crumbs. Set aside.
3. In a heated saucepan/wok, melt butter. When all the butter has melted, add in the flour and stir gently.
4. Add milk, bay leaf (optional) and continue stirring till mixture thickens.
5. Add salt, pepper and if you like the taste of the following, add them as well – cinnamon powder and nutmug powder. Add half the shredded cheese and reserve the other half for later.
6. When all the cheese has melted and the mixture is even (it should be of a slightly thick consistency), taste a bit of the mixture and season accordingly if needed. Pour the mixture over the macaroni. Stir to make sure that the macaroni is fully coated in the sauce.
7. Top the macaroni with the remaining cheddar cheese, followed by breadcrumbs (you don’t have to use all) and parmesan cheese.
8. Bake at 180C (360F) for about 30 minutes, till the sauce is bubbly and the top is slightly browned.
I've made some bread pudding last month and some Beignets (Ben-yays). A Beignet is a French Donut which is a delicacy in New Orleans, USA. I came across this yummy, yummy yum-yum when I was watching 'The Princess and the Frog'... It's the bun-like bread with honey and icing sugar dusting. But my recipe didn't need the honey. It's easy to make and simply DELISH~
I found the video of this yum-yum on Youtube. Here's the recipe! But I've read someone's comment below saying that this isn't Beignets but Italian Zepollies. =/ Oh well, at least it's something edible and something yummy!! =D
Beignets (serve 6)
For the video, please click here!
Ingredients:
- 165 ml water
- 45g butter, cubed
- pinch of salt
- 125 flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbsp pastry cream (optional)
- 1 tbsp sugar

Procedure:
1. Boil the water, butter and salt for 1/2 min in a small pot. Add flour when butter is completely melted and quickly stir the mixture to get a dough. Remove the pan from the heat.
2. Add the eggs one by one. Only add the next egg after the previous egg is completely mixed with the dough.
3. Add your pastry cream and sugar. Mix well.
4. Shape the Beignets working with two spoons to form a rounded shape. Deep fry it.
5. After that, place the fried Beignets on kitchen towel to drain excess oil. Then dust it with icing sugar.
6. Serve!!! =D
See?? Easy-peasy~~ If you tried it, tell me how it went and the taste.. Good luck in the kitchen!
Moody...
Maybe it's because of the financial problem my family's facing and also the problem I'm facing in my choirs.. My dad's asking me to choose between Italy and China. Of course, I'll definitely choose Italy since I've been to China for countless of times. But I can't back out from any of the two competitions! I've got myself into a HUGE mess that I don't know how to clean up... Sigh! So I'm so depressed with myself. My mum's urging me to go earn some money by looking for a job. I want to have a job! But the problem is the time since I'm having classes for most of my days in a week! I am having a job, which is teaching TWO students piano lessons which I will have RM126 per month. How is that going to be able to pay for my trip/trips?! So now, I'm kind of working in my aunt's office in which I was assigned to tidy her pile of clothes and categorize them into Baby Boys: Months to Years, 2 - 3 years old and Baby Girls: Months to Years, 2 -3 years old. I don't even know whether I'll get paid. It's not that I'm worried that my hard work will be just volunteered work, it's just that it feels weird working for my family member and... Yeah, it feels weird... And my mum keeps telling my aunt that I want to work there and blah, blah, blah! I didn't even say I wanted to work there and she made all the decisions herself! >:( And now when I say that I don't want to work there, she said that I'm making it hard for her as she already told my aunt about it! ARGH!
It's all that Starbucks' guy fault! If he hired me in the first place, I won't have to go through all this trouble!!! SCREWWWWW HIMMMMMMMM!
Ahh.... That felt good... ^^' I've been keeping this in my heart which made me moody all these days... Now, it's all out and my heart already felt lighter!
So now that it's a few more days till Chinese New Year/Valentines' Day, my mum's busy baking cookies and I'm the only one who had been giving her a helping hand since my maid who has an attitude and who is rude and annoying and loud is 'busy' doing things slowly in purpose so that she wouldn't have to help my mum. My mum said she regretted hiring her because no one wanted to hire her in the first place when she saw my maid in the agency! ARGH... I just loath her... =_____=
Now that money is a problem, continuing my studies in Form 6 is back in my consideration. I know that I may had made my decision final when I said that I was positive about studying Contemporary Music, but now that my sister's going off to the US to further her studies, my dad had also been worried about money. Therefore, now I was thinking, maybe I should be studying medicine to become a Pharmacists or a Chemist which will have a more promising future than music...
Sorry for my emo-ness... Like I've mentioned earlier, I had been moody for these few days...

I'm so lazy now.. Even to blog..
So the latest update about me now, is I dyed my hair brown! But because of my 'coal black' hair =P, it's only quite obvious under the sun. This was a whole DIY process where my sister bought the hair dye in the pharmacy the day before my birthday because I wanted to try out. Initially, my sister prompted me to get a lighter or a redder colour, but I refused because I was afraid that it would turn out too red. But I should have took her advice in as my hair colour now is just a shade lighter than it was and it's like it was not point dying my hair!
I actually did this behind my mum's back. It was my little brother who had a big mouth and spilled the beans to my mum when he saw what was in the pharmacy's plastic bag... But her reaction was expected. Her angry face and her notorious finger pointing which my family is soooooo familiar with. =P She always shows that look when we are in trouble and even when she see kids cycling dangerously on the road! Lol...
The process was long and boring and quite exciting for me. But I did felt a little sting on my scalp as the hair colour was applied. The label said that I should stop the whole process if the stinging was too intense. But it wasn't, so I guess it was alright. It took more or less an hour to complete the steps and the results I got didn't satisfy me... =( Oh well, everything's worth a try...
Last Monday, the 25th, was my 18th birthday. It wasn't anything special. My family took me out to the Manhattan's Fish Market for dinner the night before and we ate cake on the night of my birthday. I stayed at home the whole, doing nothing... Because all my friends were busy working and some, studying... But I've received loads of wishes from my friends and family via Facebook and text messaging, and thank you all! =D
Chinese New Year always comes during or right after my birthday! So this year's celebration will be extra special since Chinese New Year falls on Valentine's day as well! =D
I might be saving up my ang pau money for my trip to China and Italy this year. Since my family's income wasn't satisfying, my dad didn't really want me to go for that trip. But my salary isn't at all, high enough to even cover 1/4 of the cost. D= Oh and btw, I just got my first pay check today! *Drum rolls...* RM63! Not merely enough, I know. But I only have one student now, what to do?? And now, I'm in a deep dilemma. I couldn't back out from both of my trips since my teacher had already paid 30% of the whole cost to the organizer and the overall cost is calculated by the number of members taking part in this competition! And now, my teacher wants RM1200 as the deposit for the trip to China. The choir had already promise to pay RM800 for this trip and the overall cost will be about RM2200. Is it too expensive? =/
And as for the other choir's trip to Italy, we are working hard to look for sponsors. We will be holding a concert in Klang this March. The cost for this trip will be RM5000++! @_@ Although we are trying hard to gather the amount of money to cover everyone's expenses, but I think it would be close to impossible to collect that much money for each of us...
AHHHHHHHHH! What should I do?! ='(

First Music Lesson in months!
I've stopped 3 of my music lessons. Or maybe 4 lessons to be exact. 2 piano classes, 1 violin lesson and 1 choir practice. But now, I have only have 2 piano classes, no more violin lessons because my teacher is sick and couldn't give anymore classes, and 2 choir practice to attend to. And I would be flying to 2 countries this year. =) China, for the World Choir Games and also Venice, Italy (Yippee!!) for the Spring Choir Competition.
I've been to China the most. Hmm.. Lemme count. This would be the 4th time going there.
The first time was with my mum who went to 永春, 福建, which is my mother's side's grandpa's hometown. My grandpa's house was like those houses you see in movies set in the olden days in China? I meant those with the open-aired front yard in the middle of the house and the kitchen was "half" opened-air. So we were having Al Fresco dining while we were there.. =P Nah.. Just kidding. And the house have lotssssss of rooms and those rooms were empty. My mum said my grandpa renovated the house and build in more rooms so that when our big family visit his house there in China, they will have enough rooms for us grandchildren... =D There's a big garden in front of the house and a mountain full of Mandarin Orange fruit trees behind the house. There was a pig sty behind the house where my grandpa's sisters rear their pigs. And there was a gas station beside the house where my grandpa's siblings are in charge of. I've got to eat those peaches we usually see 孙悟空, The Monkey King, eating! Yummy!
The 2nd time was to Beijing, Tianjin and Chengde with my family and my cousins, both my mum's side and my dad's side. I've walked on The Great Wall of China, went to the Forbidden City, Tian An Men Square 天安门广场, Temple of Heaven 天坛, The Summer Palace 颐和园, The Beihai Park 北海公园 and much more places that I don't really remember. It was during the Winter months. So the lakes in the gardens and parks and also the drains are all frozen. I didn't get to see the snow fall, but I saw snow that had already fallen on The Great Wall and on the lakes of the gardens. I've sat on the tricycle 三轮车 going through the small back alleys 胡同 eating 冰糖葫芦... Hehe! It was years before the Olympics so it wasn't as beautiful as it is now. But that's ok, because I saw the Old Beijing and I liked it..
The 3rd time was in Xiamen, Hokkien. This time, I went with my choir mates where we went there to take part in the 4th World Choir Games and I'm about to enter the 6th one this year which will be taking place in Shaoxing, China this year. It took place in Graz, Austria 2 years ago and it was too expensive to go there.
And about the trip to Venice, Italy. I'm still not really sure about this trip because we're still not sure whether we are qualified to take part in this competition. But also, European trips equal to a HUGE sum of money.. So I will be performing in quite a lot of places to earn more money and also collect some donations from all of you kind souls out there.. =P
I haven't been touching my piano ever since my Graduation Day where I wrote a song for my class to perform.. =D Therefore, I'm afraid that my piano skills will worsen when I get back to class later... Although I've practiced for 1/2 an hour just now, I'm still a bit clumsy with my hands now. I'll see how it goes later on. I hope my teacher can be a little more patient with me and hopefully, be in a good mood today.. =P
ps: Oh, and I think I'm going to get my very first job next week as a piano teacher... Hopefully my students are not those spoiled brats for needs a good kick in their butts... Lol. I think I can handle this. Or at least, I hope I can... =3

Feeling L.O.S.T.
So most of my friends are already enrolled in college or already in college doing their A-levels or SAM program or whatsoever. But here I am, facing the computer everyday since the 1st of January, doing absolutely nothing. No job, no school, no classes. And I'm so bored I almost died of boredom... And now that school reopened, my little brother had just started secondary school and I'm alone at home.
I guess this is what they usually say, feeling like a ship lost at sea.
I'm still now sure if I'm suitable for studying music. I'm not sure if this really is my path. But I hope it is because I don't have much options to choose from. I like music, but I hope I won't end up as a music teacher in the future. I hope to write songs for movies or films like, for Disney's animation or Pixar. =) Songs like the theme song for Titanic or Forrest Gump. Songs who can withstand the test of time and people of all ages, young and old, will be humming along to. Songs that make people cry, songs that make people connect.
I would like to meet people like Alan Menken who wrote most of Disney's theme song that is familiar to people of all ages. He wrote songs from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules and also songs from Enchanted in which the "Happy Working Song" got everybody hummin' for weeks! He's naturally talented and gifted, where I'm the total opposite of. My musical talents are not at all a gift nor a talent I had.
I know that I dream big, but it is merely a dream. If I really want to make this dream a reality, then I have to work extra hard. I hope that I can look back some day in the future and smile, not regretting that I took the "road less traveled by".

Singapore Trip
So on New Year's eve, I was on my way back from Johor Bahru/Singapore. To be frank, I hadn't had much fun in Singapore... Because we was staying in JB, we had to go through the checkpoint every time we want to go to Singapore. So it was a really tedious job to go in and out of Singapore every time.
Day 1
When we reached Singapore, my dad's fuel tank was almost empty and we forgot to fill up the tank in JB. So when we reach Singapore, my dad went to the nearest Shell station to fill up his tank and the petrol station worker teased my dad and said, "I've only seen Singaporeans going to JB to fill the tank and not see Malaysians coming to Singapore to fill the tank!" And at their petrol station was a 7-Eleven convenient store and it was very much different from the 7-Eleven we have here! They sell lots of stuff! And yummy ones, too! =D
So after filling up our tank, we wanted to go to the city but my dad had some problems using the GPS and we ended up circling around Woodlands, which is near the checkpoint between the barrier of Singapore and Malaysia. Oh, yea. But we had a chance to drive around the Singapore National University... = =
So back at the checkpoint, I find the checkpoint officers there a little rude and arrogant. My dad didn't really know the "rules", which is to open the car booth when entering the checkpoint because they were afraid that we are smuggling chewing gum or bubble gum into Singapore... == No no, just kidding. Okay, so because my dad was kinda like a newbie, he didn't open the booth for the officers to check. And the officer was like banging on the car booth and shouting for my dad to get out of the car to open the car booth for them to check! o.O I'm not sure if this is a M'sian-Singapore thingie or just a "i'm-tired-of-doing-this-everyday-so-i'm-on-my-nerves" thingie...
Anyway, we got into Singapore twice that day just to eat dinner and walk around Orchard Rd. The Christmas decorations was nice and I love the Christmas tree in front of the ION Mall! =D
Day 2
Sentosa Island!!
First, I must say that I'm impressed at the transportation system the management on Sentosa Island had provided. It was really systematic and clean and all things that we can't find here on our public transportation system. Since it was the 30th, they were preparing for the Siloso Beach Party and there was a huge tent on the beach. I don't understand why the people were still swimming so happily in the sea since the waters were, err, not at all clean.
So we went to the Underwater Park there to look around. I saw some giant sea turtles! I've touched and fed the Stingrays in the "Rays of Fun" pool. The cow-nosed Stingray was really playful and kept splashing us with water! But the other big-sized ones were lazing around the waters...
Of course, I've seen the clown fish a.k.a. Nemo and also Dory.. =P

I've saw the Angel of the Sea and I'm still wondering how they manage to capture this micro-sized sea organisms from the cold-water seas. It's really adorable... =D Here's a picture of it:
I've also saw the Jellies in a big aquarium where they light up with different coloured neon lights! Niceeee....... =D

Ah! There was also the Garden Eel who sticks out from the sand.. Haha! It looked like Slimy, Oscar's pet worm in Sesame Streets!

And the highlight of the whole tour was the Pink Dolphin show! Well, the Pink Dolphins I saw were not exactly pink in whole. But they are pink with a little patches of Gray.
ps: I didn't take this photo and the water in the Dolphin Lagoon wasn't that greenish and murky..
We visited the Merlion statue where we saw a Cambodian(I think) man was busy taking pictures of his wife with various kinds of poses which was hilarious! And annoying, because he kept blocking the view... = =
I wanted to go on the Luge which cost $16 for 1 ride. But my mum thought that it was dangerous... What?! @____@
Anyway, my aunt gave me and my 3 other siblings a $50 note when we reached Sentosa and we was like, What?! o.O *wide-eyed* I thought it was just a $10 note! = = So thanks to Be Ee... =) Athough I've only spent like $5.20 to buy a bottle of Green Tea with Jasmine to quench my thirst and also a $1.50 each Bun which looked so delicious! =P And the packaging was so kyute!
This is the bun I was mentioning! The DayPlus bread with natural yeast. It's a Singaporean product made with imported ingredients from Japan. I bought the Hokkaido Cream flavour and the Maple flavour... Oiishi..! =D
On day 3 (31st Dec), we didn't get into Singapore so my trip ended here...
Oh and by the way, I've welcomed year 2010 in the shower this year.. Haha!

Merry Christmas, all!! =D
May the Yule tide gay...
From now on, our troubles will be miles away!
Here we are as in olden days,
Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us,
Gather near to us once more...
Well, anyway, I've had so much fun and I'll be missing all my friends for a long, long time. We must come out for a gathering some day!! We've been up and over the mountain, under the sea and also "ate up" the whole island in Penang!
- I woke up at 5am on the bus and my breath was taken away by the starry night sky I can see from the bus and marveled at it the whole night!
- I've saw about 5 or 6 shooting stars under the starry night sky in Langkawi.
- I've waited, but unsuccessfully, for the sun to rise without sleeping the whole night with a bunch of friends by our hotel pool side and also the beach. =D
- I've enjoyed waking people up in the middle of the night just for fun~ =P
- I've went chocolate hunting in Langkawi.
- I've played on a wheelchair in my hotel room because "someone" sprained her ankle just by walking on the streets in Penang... = =
- I've also ate my Tang Yuan made by my classmates this year in Cameron Highlands.
- I've saw the boys in my class go drunk in Langkawi because beer there is so darn cheap! =S Beer made the good boys go bad... Sigh!
- I've met some old friends in Penang.
- I saw baby sharks in the sea in Pulau Payar!
- I've just realized that most of the boys in my class can't swim and only blame Gulu for not catching the ball when we play games in the pool. = =
- I've had a few sips of beer but I still don't like it!
- I felt a little seasick because of the waves...
- I've waited for 3 hours just to be transported from the island to the boat which was about 10m away from the island because of the waves while crazily singing away with QF.
- I've made a rock skipped 2 times on the surface of the water!
- I've hugged my friends and cried before going home...
- I'm beginning to miss my friends...
These 5 days and 7 nights was no doubt memorable and is deeply etched in my heart and my memories forever and always!
So until we meet again friends... May our futures collide so that we can meet again someday!

A Lesson Learnt...
The next day, we've initially agreed to wake up at 8.30am and depart at 9.30am. But we were too worn out and slept till 9.15am.
Skip skip skip to the part we went skating and after that. Because the point of this post is not about that..
When we were skating, we met my friends who also went to skate and we had quite a blast. But there was too many people which made the 'fast skating' process hard... =P
After skating, we went to have our lunch. They've had Ramen and I've had McD and Aunty Anne's. This was because I have a tight budget... T__________T
So after eating, they went shopping and we went to a pet shop and marvelled over the chubby, tiny little dwarf hamsters.. Soooooo Kyute~
At about 5pm, they have to go. So I decided to take the bus to the train station and take the train back home. This is where my dumb luck begin.....
First, it was raining and I thought EVERY mini bus will go to the train station. So I thought I was lucky because there already was a mini bus waiting there already. So I just hopped on without looking at it's destinations... After that, I saw the bus going to Puchong and IOI Mall... @_@ How the heck did I end up here?! So I asked the bus driver if he is going back to Sunway. He said he will. So I just continued following the bus around for an hour and a half..
Ok, so I was back in Sunway and I've came back to the places before the bus drove to Puchong. I began to feel funny. After half an hour or so, I asked one of the passenger on the bus, is this the KTM station? She said, "Bus ini tak pergi ke KTM lah..." @_______@ I quickly hopped of the bus and waited for another.
Because of the heavy rain, there was also the heavy traffic, which caused me to wait for another hour for the next bus to come. It was raining and I was cold.. Luckily I was wearing my long-sleeved T-shirt. And my phone's battery has a remaining 23% left... So I waited in the dark and cold place, hiding under a shed that's not even a bus stop.
After an hour, the right bus finally came! Thank God! I thought I was gonna be stuck up here for who knows how long.
So I've safely reached the train station, bought the ticket and waited for the next train to come by reading Cecilia Ahern's "P.S. I Love You"... Awwww....
There was one train, which was pulled by a cargo. It looked like it was spoilt and there was a sign that said "Limited Stop only" and it will only stop until Shah Alam. Ok, so I waited...
After half and hour, another train came. Yes! So I boarded this train. And got back to Bkt Badak safely where my paremts were already waiting.. Hehe.
Reached my HOME SWEET HOME at 9.15pm after departing from Sunway at 5pm... Grrrrrreeeeeatttttt....

I'm baaaaaacccckkkkkk... =D
It had been 4 months since I've blogged and tomorrow, I'll be having my longest holiday in my life!!
1 day to total freedom, 1 day to a brand new life, 1 day to the longest holiday in my life, 1 day to the last time I step into my high school this year, 1 day to a whole December of partying~ =DD
I'll be busy for the whole December, after my SPM. Two choirs to attend and 2 vacations to go to.. Haha! I'll be going to Langkawi, Penang and also Cameron Highlands for my Grad. Trip. I hope it won't be boring... =_____________= Because those were the places when I went for my primary school graduation trip. So there I will be adding more chocolate to my "vault" (my fridge) at home. =P My little brother had just came back from Langkawi last month and he bought quite a lot of chocolate and I'll be buying much much more..
After coming back from my trip on Christmas Eve, I think there's gonna be a Christmas party somewhere that I'll be attending.
Then, I'll be going for choir practices for 2 days then off to Singapore!!! =D
Hmmm.... I'm not really sure what to write anymore. Maybe because I stopped blogging for such a long time.
Anyway, I had been using the computer for these 4 months. =P Unable to keep my promise to myself...
Oh, right. Our graduation ceremony was, as usual, tearful. And we rocked out Neway after that!!! Hehe...
Ok. I have to go study for my last subject ever now... Yiiiiiiippppppeeeeeeeeeee~ Which will be Chinese... ^^ Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....

Retiring for the next 4 months
Since I will be busy with books for the next few months, I'm not gonna be posting any blog posts till December, which will be after my SPM...
So if this blog is still here, I'll be happy to continue posting blog entries after that... =P
Thanks for all your support all this while. I'll be back here soon...
